Great Wall Hike in Hebei and Beijing 9D

Welcome to Beijing, the capital of P.R.China. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Beijing hotel. 

Today you will walk on the biggest City Square in the world, the Tiananmen Square with a local guide, then visit the biggest palace in the world, The Forbidden City. Explore the main buildings and listen to the stories about the palace. 

Head to Summer Palace this afternoon to view the amazing Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill, where it used to be a summer resort for the royal families during Qing Dynasty.

Later you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Today you will drive 3 hours from Beijing to Shanhaiguan which is the start of the Great Wall built in Ming Dynasty. Upon arrival, you will visit the First Beacon Tower of the Great Wall and the Shanhaiguan Fortress.

This morning you will climb up Jiaoshan Great Wall that is an original section of the Wall on the high mountains. Then you will take 2-hour car ride to Qianxi where you will check in the hotel.

Move to Panjiakou where you will visit the Great Wall in the water. Then you will continue driving to Luowenyu Great Wall, this section is intact and well-preserved its original style. You can hike about 2 hours here before moving to hotel in Zunhua.

This morning you will visit Eastern Mausoleum of Qing Dynasty which is a UNESCO site. Then take one-hour ride to Huangyaguan section of the Great Wall, you will hike 2 hours on the Wall to view the imposing scenery. 

Drive 2 hours to Gubeikou where you will start hiking to Jinshanling, the distance is about 10 km, and it takes about 5 hours to hike up and down along the original Great Wall built in Ming Dynasty 600 years ago.

Hiking in the morning from Jinshanling to Simatai West on the Great Wall to enjoy the view on the high mountains. Afterwards you will take 3-hour car ride back to Beijing. 

Today is departing day, you will be transferred to Beijing airport to catch your flight, where the wonderful tour concludes.
