Beijing is an amazing city with rich history and relics. This day tour will let you explore the well-known Forbidden City and old Hutong area in Beijing with a local guide. Please note all attractions in Beijing need to reserve in advance and we need to confirm the available slots before the tour confirmation.
At 8:30am, our guide will pick you up from your centrally located Beijing hotel lobby with your nameplate and start this day tour.
Firstly you will visit the biggest city square, Tiananmen Square which is located in front of The Forbidden City. You will view the buildings around the square before heading for the Forbidden City. As a palace for Ming and Qing Dynasty, the Forbidden City was built from 1406-1420AD in Ming Dynasty. It is well-preserved housing millions relics. Your guide will take you visit the impressvie halls and tell you the stories behind the buildings.
Afterwards you will walk to the hutong area. Hutong area is old Beijing where you will see the traditional lifestyle for local people and enjoy the wandering around the Houhai Lake.
Later, you will be transferred back to your hotel where the tour concludes.
