Private 2-Day Tour to Kumbum Monastery, Chaka Salt Lake and Qinghai Lake from Xining

Pick up from your Xining hotel at 8:30am, then drive one-hour to Kumbum Monastery to learn the Buddhism culture with your local guide.

Afterwards, you will take 4.5-hour car ride to Chaka town along the highway on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

Upon arrival, check in Chaka Salt Hotel or equivalence(3-star). There are no 4 or 5 star hotels available in Chaka Town so far.

After hotel breakfast, then head to Chaka Lake in the morning. View the huge salt lake that sometimes looks like a mirror under the sunshine.

Then you will take 2.5-hour car ride to Qinghai Lake where you will view the large lake. 

Afterwards, drive about 3 hours back to Xining where the tour concludes.
