Hanyanglin Mausoleum in Xian

Hanyanglin Mausoleum is situated near Xian airport, Shaanxi Province, China. The mausoleum is the joint tomb of the Emperor Jingdi and his empress for Han Dynasty about 2000 years ago. It is the largest underground museum in China. The tomb combines modern technology, ancient civilization, ancient culture and landscaped gardens. There are two parts: the underground museum and the exhibition hall, which will take about 2 hours to explore.

In the underground museum, you can explore the original site of the tomb for the burial things such as Terra Cotta Warriors, horses, duck, pigs etc. which are much smaller than Qingshihuang Warriors.

In the exhibition hall, travelers can explore the wonderful display about the relics excavated from the mausoleum.

There are fewer visitors for this museum, hence it is nice to wander around here while traveling to China on the ancient Silk Road. However, it is far from the city, is is quite tricky to travel there for a visit, chart a car or a taxi is the easiest way to get there.
