Guilin Explore 7D: Guilin, Longji Rice Terraces, Yangshuo

Welcome to Guilin. Today is arrival day, you will be met by the driver at Guilin Airport, then transferred to hotel in Guilin. Enjoy your free time.

At 8am, you will be picked up from your centrally located Guilin hotel lobby, then head to the Reed Flute Cave. It is a huge karst cave with different rocks in the cave. It takes about 2 hours to visit it. 

Then you will visit the Elephant Trunk Hill park, you will also take a boat to view the Elephant Trunk on the boat. 

Duxiu Mount is a stunning karst mountain where you can climb up and view the entire city of Guilin. It is very steep and you must be very careful while climbing up.

Then you will visit the old Jingjiang Wangcheng Palace which was built in 1372, and it is a huge area with many rooms, halls, gates, and pavilions etc.

Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your Guilin hotel.

Today, you will take 2-hour ride by car or van to Longji Rice Terraces, which is an amazing place to view the hilly farms. Upon arrival, you will hike around the mountains including Dazhai Village and PingAn Village by viewing the impressive rice paddies. There are different landsape here in different seasons. 

Enjoy the Rice Terraces scenery around PingAn and Dazhai villages, and you can walk up to the top of hill for a panorama of the rice paddies.

After lunch, you will take 3-hour ride to Yangshuo, a picturesque small town with stunning Li River and Karst mountains. You can wander around West Street this evening.  

Yangshuo is a nice town to explore. Today you can ride a bike to the stunning Yulong River, or hike around if you do not want to ride bike. 

Then you will take a boat on the pretty Li River in the old Xinping area to view the picturesque karst mountains and the rice paddies. 

Today is your free time in Yangshuo. You can explore, or join cooking class on your own cost.

Today is departure day, you will be transferred to Guilin Aiport or station to catch your flight/train to your next destination, where the wonderful tour concludes.
