Amazing China 18 Days from Beijing to Hong Kong

Welcome to Beijing, the capital of P.R.China. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Beijing hotel. 

Today you will take 2-hour ride to the Mutianyu Great Wall, which was built 600 years ago in the early Ming Dynasty. You can choose walk up or take cable car up to the Great Wall, and view the imposing ancient Chinese military construction. The impressive Wall extends like a dragon on the top of the endless mountains. It is a nice walk on the Wall to enjoy the fantastic scenery.

Lunch is included at a local restaurant before moving back to Beijing hotel.

You will visit the biggest city square in the world, the Tiananmen Square. Then walk to The Forbidden City, the biggest palace in the world. Explore the main buildings with a local guide in the palace. Then you will catch 5-hour bullet train to Shanghai. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to hotel. 

City explore in Shanghai today with a local guide, you will visit the Bund that is riverfront of the Huangpu River, Yu Garden that is an old pretty garden, Xintiandi that is former French Colony, and Jade Buddha Temple etc. 

Today you will take 1.5-hour car ride to Zhujiajiao Water Town that is a typical Southern China water village with well-preserved houses, stage, old bridges, and gardens etc. 

Afterwards you will be transferred back to your Shanghai hotel.

Take 2-hour morning flight to Xi'an. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Xian hotel. Explore the OId Ciy Wall this afternoon, which was built 600 years ago with a length of 14km. 

Then you will wander around the renowned Muslim Quarter where there are shops, markets, restaurants, and old houses etc. 

Today you will take one-hour ride to the well-known Terra-cotta Warriors  and Horses Museum. There are three pits in the museum where you will be impressed by the high-level art 2000 years ago. 

After included lunch at local restaurant, you will be transferred back to hotel.

Take 3-hour bullet train this morning to Chengdu. 

Upon arrival, you will explore the Kuai & zhai Alleys, Qingyang Temple in the afternoon. The yummy hot pot is a well-known meal in Chengdu, so taste the hot pot for dinner! You can choose the Sichuan opera performance this evening to learn Chinese traditional drama culture.

Today you will visit Chengdu Panda Breeding Research Base in the morning to view the cute panda feeding. Afterwards you will head to Wenshu Temple or Qingyang Temple in Chengdu depending on your interest, one is Buddhism Temple, other one is Taoism Temple. 

Later you will visit the Jinsha Site Museum that is a wonderful ruin museum to exhibit the bronze culture in the history in Chengdu.

Taste the yummy Sichuan Cuisine dinner tonight, and try to eat some local snacks as Sichuan Cuisine is renowned for all sorts of snacks, dishes and hot pot.

Today you will take 5-hour bullet train to Duyun Railway Station, then you will be transferred to Libo which is the well-known Seven Holes are located.

After breakfast, you will visit The Large Seven-Hole Bridge and Small Seven-Hole Bridge Scenic Zones in Libo, which are UNESCO heritage for the wonderful karst mountains and stunning river.

You will visit  both impressive beautiful sites.

After hotel breakfast, you will take 3-hour car ride to Basha Miao Village, which is named The Last Gun Tribe in China, a small Miao village with very little signs of modern influence in Guizhou Province. There are nice Miao people who rarely venture out of the village except for selling firewood and shopping for daily necessities in markets,  both men and women can be seen in traditional costumes, wearing their long hair.

Then you will move to Zhaoxing Dong Village that is one of the largest Dong villages in the region, with more than 700 households and a population of 4000.

Overnight in the local nice guesthouse

Today you will explore Zhaoxing Village and nearby area with your local guide. Firstly you will learn the history about the old buildings and the huge Drum Towers of the Dong People. 

Then, you will head to TangAn Village, a quiet small Dong Village in the mountain, where you will view the traditional houses, and walk in the rice terraces to enjoy the fantastc landscape. 

Today you will take 1.5-hour bullet train to Yangshuo in Guangxi Province, which is a picturesque small town along the well-known Li River. 

Explore the busy West Street this evening.

Yangshuo is a nice town to explore. Today you can ride a bike to the stunning Yulong River, or hike around if you do not want to ride bike. 

Then you will take a boat on the pretty Li River in the old Xinping area to view the picturesque karst mountains and the rice paddies. 

Today you will be transferred to Guilin Railway Station to catch the 4-hour bullet train to Hong Kong. Upon arrival, you will be transferred by local representative to hotel and check in the hotel with your passport. Enjoy your free time. 

Free explore by your own in Hong Kong, Hong Kong is easy to explore by metro.

Today is departure day, you can depart anytime to airport at your own cost. Note: Hotel check out time is at noon.
